Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) recorded Rp138.40 trillion (around US$7.7 billion) in non-tax state revenue (PNBP) throughout 2025, exceeding the target of Rp127.48 trillion.”The achievement reflects the ministry's consistency in maintaining the quality of state financial management and accountability,” Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said in a statement here on Thursday. The realization was equivalent to 108.56 percent of the ministry's target of Rp127.48 trillion. The positive trend has continued in 2026. As of July, the ministry had recorded Rp96.26 trillion in non-tax state revenue, or 70.69 percent of its 2026 target of Rp136.18 trillion. However, Lahadalia emphasized that efforts to increase state revenue must go hand in hand with accountability, transparency, sustainable natural resource management, and compliance by business actors.”Increasing state revenue must continue to be carried out in an accountable and transparent manner while taking into account the sustainability of natural resource management and compliance by business actors,” he said. The revenue achievement coincided with the ministry's continued efforts to maintain accountability in financial management, which again earned an Unqualified Opinion from Indonesia's Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).The Unqualified Opinion was granted for the ministry's 2025 financial statements. The audit report was handed over during an event held on Wednesday (August 5).BPK member I Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana commended the ministry's achievement. Based on the agency's audit summary, he said the ministry's positive performance was primarily reflected in the implementation of its core duties in the energy and mineral resources sector. The BPK grants an Unqualified Opinion when financial statements are considered fairly presented in all material respects. The assessment is based on compliance with Government Accounting Standards, the adequacy of information disclosure, adherence to prevailing laws and regulations, and the internal control system effectiveness.
