When a foreign tourist comes to our country and drinks a cup of coffee, a coffee farmer makes a living,” he said, as monitored via a broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat.According to Prabowo, Indonesia's main attractions for international tourists are its cultural richness, natural beauty, and the distinctive character of its regions.He urged regional governments to prioritize environmental cleanliness to support the development of the tourism sector.The president also commended state-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia for its initiative to revitalize hundreds of train stations, noting that historic stations are part of the nation's identity and can also serve as major tourist attractions.He said preserving historic stations is essential to safeguarding cultural heritage while supporting Indonesia's transformation into a clean, scenic, and welcoming destination for tourists.”Revitalizing hundreds of stations is very important; it should not be taken lightly. Some tourists come specifically for history. They visit Central Java for Borobudur and Yogyakarta for Prambanan,” he said.President Prabowo stressed that Indonesia must maintain clean and well-organized surroundings, free of garbage and neglected buildings, to strengthen its image as a world-class tourist destination.
