Jakarta (ANTARA) – Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefku Harsya on Thursday, July 30, inaugurated the Creative Beauty Ecosystem Center in Malang, East Java, reinforcing the government’s commitment to integrating Indonesia’s creative industry ecosystem with the tourism sector.“The business being developed here is not exclusive for personal gain, we are fostering an ecosystem that delivers economic benefits to the broader public,” he remarked as cited in a statement here on Friday.Harsya launched the Creative Beauty Ecosystem Center to support growth in both cosmetics and tourism industries, as the facility is located within an integrated complex that also houses Juragan 99 Trans, the premium transportation arm of its parent company, J99 Corp.He expressed confidence that the approach has the potential to generate greater added value for the creative economy, create employment opportunities, and enhance the competitiveness of local products.The minister added that the initiative represents “a concrete example of how the beauty industry can grow into a pillar of the national creative economy.”J99 Corp founder Shandy Purnamasari said the newly inaugurated facility was designed to harness technology and creativity to develop the beauty industry while promoting inclusiveness.“We aim to blend technology, post-production creativity, and inclusiveness. Our office being side by side with Juragan 99 Trans is proof that beauty and tourism connectivity can go hand in hand to stimulate the economy,” she said.Besides inaugurating the center, the company invited Harsya to observe various supporting facilities, including a creative workspace and five livestreaming studios.His visit concluded with a tour of Juragan 99 Trans buses, during which he reaffirmed the government's support for creative industry players seeking to expand their reach in global markets.“We are ready to make efforts aimed at bringing more Indonesian products to global markets,” the minister stated.
