Hananjoeddin International Airport in Tanjungpandan, Belitung District, on Sunday.“Not only Singaporean tourists, travelers from around the world can now continue their flights from Singapore to Belitung,” Pandjaitan said, noting that the direct flight opens new tourism opportunities for Belitung and Indonesia.The ambassador cited Belitung’s proximity to Singapore as a strategic advantage, with the flight enabling international tourists to reach the Indonesian island in about 50 minutes.In addition to geographic factors, he expressed optimism that Belitung could draw more foreign travelers with its high-quality airport services.He specifically appreciated immigration and customs procedures, which he believed can leave good impressions on visitors.“The flight was comfortable, and the airport services were top notch.
