Jakarta (ANTARA) – Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa met with Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia to discuss efforts to increase non-tax state revenue, accelerate the energy self-sufficiency program, and expand village electrification.During the meeting, he expressed readiness to support strategic measures prepared by the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, especially those aimed at strengthening the foundation of the national economy and improving public welfare.“Basically, I will support every effort made by the Energy and Mineral Resources Minister,” Sadewa said in a written statement issued here on Wednesday.Minister Lahadalia also expressed optimism regarding the collaboration between the two institutions, especially concerning energy sector policies and state revenue.“Together with the Finance Minister, we discussed synchronization programs, including how to increase PNBP, as well as how to realize the energy self-sufficiency and village electrification programs,” he stated.PNBP reached Rp112.1 trillion as of March 31, 2026, equivalent to 24.4 percent of the Rp459.2 trillion target set in the State Budget (APBN).However, PNBP performance contracted by 3 percent year-on-year due to declining commodity prices, lower crude oil lifting, and the absence of recurring dividend payments from state-owned enterprises (SOEs).The Finance Ministry recorded oil and gas sector revenue at Rp18.6 trillion, down 25.4 percent year-on-year due to a decline in the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP), lower crude oil lifting, and changes in the production-sharing split policy.Meanwhile, non-oil and gas PNBP reached Rp35.1 trillion, growing 7.1 percent year-on-year.Mineral commodities contributed the largest share at Rp32.6 trillion, supported by rising prices of gold, copper, and nickel.
