With support from the public, hopefully we can truly ensure that we achieve total independence,” Juliantono noted.His remarks come as the government moves to strengthen cooperatives as a driver for economic equality, notably through the Red-White Village Cooperative programme.Through the initiative, the government aims to establish communities at village level to have economic frameworks that can improve access to finance,the distribution of essential goods, and the development of local businesses.He also stressed the spirit of true independence means the state must play an active role in bolstering social and economic welfare.On that occasion, Juliantono also expressed his deepest condolences to those affected by the recent earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara, wishing the local community strength and safety.
