Makkah (ANTARA) – Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak said that all officials for the 2027 Hajj will be required to undergo training at a barracks facility to improve services for Indonesian pilgrims.”In the future, we will ensure that all officials must undergo training. Field experience shows that service quality is greatly influenced by the readiness of the officials,” he said in Mecca on Wednesday. This policy applies to all personnel without exception, including officials from the Saudi Arabian Hajj Pilgrim Organizers (PPIH), Regional Hajj Officials (PHD), as well as group and embarkation officials. The initiative is expected to bridge the skills gap between officials recruited at the national and regional levels. As a form of the government's commitment to improving pilgrim services, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will also implement structural innovation by establishing a dedicated Armuzna Work Area (Daker) for the 2027 Hajj.Simanjuntak explained that this unit will fully focus on handling all operations at crucial points, namely the Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) areas.”In the future, we will establish a dedicated Armuzna Daker that will specifically handle all Armuzna operations,” he said. With this specialized unit dedicated to Armuzna, assigned officers will no longer be burdened with additional duties in other sectors.Instead, they will be able to focus entirely on ensuring the smooth movement and safety of millions of pilgrims during the peak of the Hajj.According to him, the innovation and enhancement of officer capacity are the result of a positive evaluation of the 2026 Hajj.Early preparation is believed to be key to ensuring a more orderly, professional, and safety-oriented Hajj operation in 2027.
