Magelang, C Java (ANTARA) – Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) Ace Hasan Syadzily expressed hope that the Regional Leadership Strengthening Course retreat for regional legislative council leaders across Indonesia would help align central and regional government policies.“Regional policies are expected to remain in line with central government directions without neglecting the needs of local communities,” he said after the closing of the course at the Military Academy here on Sunday.The course, which began with the reception of participants on April 15, 2026, concluded smoothly, orderly, and as expected.Syadzily expressed gratitude for the smooth implementation of the entire series of activities, noting that participants followed all sessions well and enthusiastically until the end.The course provided strategic insights for regional leaders, including strengthening national values, revisiting the history of Indonesia’s struggle, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of global political dynamics.He noted that one of the key sessions featured a special briefing by President Prabowo Subianto on recent developments and the central government’s strategic policies.In addition, several ministers delivered materials on priority national programs, covering domestic governance, food security, energy security, health, and improving human resources through education.Strengthening the integrity of regional leaders was also a focus of the course, including direct briefings from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chair Setya Budiyanto.Meanwhile, aspects of law enforcement in supporting the national development agenda were presented by the Indonesian Military (TNI) commander and the National Police chief.Syadzily said regional legislative council chairpersons hold a strategic role as regional decision-makers that are expected to support the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.He also emphasized the importance of maintaining unity amid diverse regional, ethnic, and political backgrounds for the sake of national interests.
