Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (ticker code: WSBP) Securing a new contract from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for the construction project of the Smart System and Integrated Technologies Laboratory Building (L-SSIT) at Udayana University in Bali.In this project, WSBP acts as the implementing contractor responsible for all construction work, from preparation, excavation, structural work, architecture, to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), which are vital parts of the construction of this modern laboratory building.“As a construction service provider, we are committed to ensuring that every stage of the work is carried out on time and in accordance with quality standards, so as to produce a high-quality building that can optimally support educational facilities and infrastructure,” said Fandy Dewanto, Vice President of Corporate Secretary WSBP.The work contract for the construction of the L-SSIT Laboratory Building at Udayana University Bali was signed by WSBP and Udayana University on Friday (20/2) at the Udayana University Rectorate Building. The signing was attended by representatives from both parties. WSBP was represented by Itung Prasaja as the Director of Operations and witnessed by Anak Agung Gede Sumadi as the President Director of WSBP. Meanwhile, Udayana University was represented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Lie Jasa, MT, IPU, ASEAN Eng as the Construction Commitment Officer of Udayana University.The construction of the L-SSIT Laboratory Building is expected to support the strengthening of research and technological development at Udayana University, particularly in the field of integrated research and technology. The presence of representative laboratory facilities is an important part of improving the quality of learning and innovation in higher education.“Previously, we have also worked on a number of construction projects in the field of education, including the construction of the Cadet Mess & Laboratory at the Defense University in Sentul, the construction of UNIPI PERSIS in Bandung, and the construction of the Madura State Polytechnic (POLTERA), which is currently underway. This experience strengthens our capacity to provide functional educational facilities that optimally support academic activities,” he added.This project is an important milestone in strengthening WSBP's position as a trusted construction service provider for projects in the education sector.
